Solid Fillers

Solbern Direct Fillers are available in over 12 different models, each uniquely designed to handle a particular type of product. This category includes fillers capable of handling a wide range of products, such as vegetables, fruits, spices, snacks, grains and delicate products. Our Direct Filling technique uses the container as a measuring device for precise filling. The shake, while progressively filling feature, orients the product within the container to achieve a uniform fill density. The fill angle determines the fill volume. Output speed is determined by product type and filler model. Most models can accommodate up to #10 can size.

These fillers will be tooled to your specific application but will have the flexibility to be retooled for many future needs. These fillers are designed for whole, sliced, diced and chunky products. The Model 301 Filler is a straight line type open style machine capable of precise filling at speeds of up to 500 containers per minute, depending on product and container size. The open style construction allows an unobstructed view of the filling process which greatly facilitates machine adjustments for optimum product handling with minimum recirculating. Several options are available for this filler, including PLC control with touch screen display to automate set-up adjustment on the filler.

The Models PTF Direct Fillers are designed to fill whole, sliced, diced and chunky products, even if they are not free flowing. They fill cans or jars completely or partially full, to the exact weight required. The Solbern direct filling technique uses the container as a measuring device for precise filling.
